Search Options

• Clicking question mark icon to the right of the text field will open pop-up dialog with the overview of search options you can enter into the “Search for” filed.
• If you leave search field empty but pick the location (you need actually type something to location field not just select the country) you will be able to do a “wild card” search.
• The “search by” options provide you with ability to search by a simple single word term or to construct large sophisticated queries using simple conventions described below
• You can pick a country by clicking on country icon. Please note that if your picked country is not supported by engine(s) then the tab for the engine(s) will be disabled on search results page. However if country appears on the list it is supported by at least one engine
• Note that keywords such as AND, OR and NOT have to be entered as all uppercase
  • AND - Match all of the connected terms – Java AND Perl
  • OR - Match at least one of the connected terms – Java OR Perl
  • NOT - Exclude matches on the term that follows NOT – Java NOT Perl
  • Use quotes for exact match – "Android developer"
  • Use () to group order of operations -  (Java OR (Scala AND Perl)) NOT Fortran
  • Use title:(QA guru) to search by job title only
  • Use company:(Apple) to search by company
  • Please note that different search engines have different level of support for advanced searching queries
  • You can combine all of the above options in any form or fashion so for example you can search for all Java jobs at Sun like so – company:(Sun) Java
